recommendations when using a scanner
Here are some basic rules when saving images for use on the internet, using a scanner
1) set your scanner on a low to medium resolution approx (72dpi)
2) scan a standard 10cm x 15cm (4" x 6") photograph for best results.
3) save your image to a location of your choice i.e my documents
when saving always choose to save in jpeg or gif file format. These files are loaded to their display page quickly without effecting picture quality.
